In Venice, as is well known, you get around on foot or by boat. And it is by boat, called "mototopo" by the Venetians, that the goods are moved. Pandas included...

First you see a little bit of color developing and you race out of your house trying to get to the seaside ~ sometimes you are blessed with this.

- Casa Batlló was a family residence and we stepped into the creative brains of Antoni Gaudí. Such a genius architect from the 19th century! We were mind blown.

Advent in Zurich. I love the atmosphere during the advent time. Lights all over in this little Christmas village in front of the Opera of Zurich. People are trying to find nice presents and enjoy the view towards the city. Cold temperatures that fit to our fantasy of how Christmas should be. Snowy and cold landscapes. I guess that’s why I was so thrilled this year to take this image. I’m happy to share it with you.

I was walking through The Haghe to a theatre when I saw this building next to it and all the line caught my eyes.

I call this photo “Carpet of Gingko” in late fall and after a cold snap, the leaves dropped overnight from the trees causing a golden carpet of subtle colour and texture.

Sometimes a photo finds you. I had left a glass on my bathroom countertop just in front of a nightlight. A pair of my earrings looked perfect in the light rays. My old harlequin clock provided a backdrop. The pattern proved a nice contrast to the wedges of shadow and light.

The Crested Saguaro cactus found mostly in the Sonoran Desert. This particular one was found in Phoenix, AZ, The USA. Don't miss the tiny person standing next to it.
